Squawker Cyclocross Classic Results and Travel Stipend Offer!

November 11, Durango CO - Squawker Cyclocross Classic - USCF STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Squawker Cyclocross Classic, held on the Ft. Lewis College campus in Durango CO was reminiscent of USGP past races. Large amounts of spectators came out on this pleasantly cool, calm day to watch one of the best races of the season.

Top Placements:
-The Elite Men's champion - Matt Schriver, followed by Todd and Troy Wells.
-The Elite Women's champion - Sabina Kraushaar, followed by Shannon Gibson and Sara Tescher.
-The Junior Champion - Wes Kay, followed by Bill Cowan and Clarissa Freeman.
-The 35+ champion - Karl Kiester, followed by Mike Carroll and Scott Simmons.

We are offering a $250 travel reimbursement stipend for travel to the National Championships. Eligible are the state champions, runners-up, or the highest-ranked (USGP ranking) Colorado riders in these categories: Elite Men, Elite Women, Junior 15-16 and 17-18, and 35+. In case of multiple applications the recipient will be chosen based on the order cited above. Eligible and interested riders should submit a letter of application through the contact link on this web-site. The stipend will be paid as a reimbursement of expenses incurred for travel to National Championships. It will be paid upon submission of receipts for expenses incurred up to $250 per rider.

Note: If the winner for a category does not apply then the runner up is eligible, if the runner up does not apply then the highest CO rider in that USGP class/category is eligible. A maximum of $1,250 is available for stipends. Riders must apply within 30 days of the USCF National Cyclocross Championships.
